Rain Alarm Circuit using 555 Timer and Rain Sensor Module in Proteus Simulation

In this video, we design and simulate a Rain Alarm Circuit using a 555 Timer IC and Rain Sensor Module (HL-83) in Proteus 8 Professional. This project detects rainwater using the rain sensor and immediately triggers a buzzer or speaker through the 555 timer to alert you when it starts raining. The circuit is simple, reliable, and easy to build — a great project for beginners and students learning about sensor-based electronic systems. 🔧 Components Used: Rain Sensor Module (HL-83) 555 Timer IC Transistors: BC547, BC557 Resistors, Capacitors Speaker (Buzzer) 6V Battery Supply 💡 Working Principle: When the rain sensor detects moisture, the output signal activates the 555 timer, switching on the transistor circuit that drives the buzzer. The alarm stays active as long as the sensor detects water drops. 🧰 Software Used: Proteus 8 Professional 📺 Subscribe for more Proteus circuit simulations: @electronicsimulation9618?sub_confirmation=1 Telegram channel link: Subscription Link: @electronicsimulation9618?sub_confirmation=1 🌐 Check out my other channels: @MAKERCREATIVE @OPENPCB @electronicsimulation9618
