With today's project, this will no longer be a problem! In fact, I built an automatic irrigation system that does not require a faucet on the balcony, because it uses a container to take water from and a pump to distribute it to the plants. The irrigation system is based on an ESP32 board, which can be connected to Home Assistant using WiFi. In this way, we can control how much water to give to the plants from the app on the phone, and even monitor the water level thanks to an ultrasonic sensor mounted on the water tank.
