I built an upgraded version of an adjustable router guide jig for dados, grooves, squares and mortises. ► For more details check out my website: ► Tutorial and Plans available: ► ALL Woodworking Plans: I decided to build an upgraded version of an adjustable trim router guide jig. I've been using the previous router jig for many projects and as it turned out to be very useful. Unfortunately the original jig did not let me make specific size dados and squares. I also made this router template shorter than the previous one - there are not many situations one would need a 50cm long dado and this one is more useful while using it on a smaller table. I built this jig with 2 sets of detachable arms - one for general dado purpose the other for an exact / specific dado / square size. For that I made a T-track on both sides that allow me to adjust the arms as necessary. Note: The jig works with one router bit only. The router bit you use to build this jig is the one you always need to use while using the jig MATERIAL USED: Circular Saw – Trim Router – Proxxon Mini Table Saw / Table Saw - Bosch Cord Drill – Narex Chisels – One Hand Clamps – Spring Clamps – F-Clamps – Machinist Square - Speed Square - Double-Sided Woodworking Tape – Wood Glue – Epoxy – Router bits – 6mm – M6 Wing nut, M6 Bolts Aluminum L angles Plywood 9mm, MDF 4mm 🛠 All My Tools & Gear: We may earn an affiliate commission when you buy something through our retail links.
