ANALYSAT Project enhances the 6G-SANDBOX testbed by implementing three new cutting-edge functionalities: 🔹 NWDAF 📊 🔹 Location Information Capability 📍 🔹 Multi-Link Backhaul Management 🔗. These three new proposed functionalities can jointly support the introduction of novel management features for network automation in satellite enabled mobile networks 🌐🚀. This is achieved through the implementation of a use case application that exploits the information data from the new Network Data Analytics and Location Μanagement Function (LMF) exposed by the mobile network to automatically select between satellite and terrestrial backhaul link technologies based on aggregated mobility and traffic load analytics data as well as on the basis of predictions built via ML techniques 🤖📈. 🔗 Moreover, the new functionalities are integrated with the common CAPIF available in 6G-SANDBOX platform in Athens, which allows external authorized consumers to easily access the functions’ services following a unified approach and interacting with the open interfaces exposed for each functionality. ANALYSAT Project has received funding from 6G-SANDBOX project, which is a Research and Innovation Action funded by the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) under the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No 101096328.
