Hero Combat Controller in Unity: Full Combat & AI System Setup (1-Click Setup)

In this Unity tutorial, I’ll show you how to set up a complete Hero Combat Controller — a one-click system that automatically wires up player movement, combat, and enemy AI. This package includes everything you need to bring your characters to life: ⚔️ Player movement and click-to-attack combat 🧠 Enemy NPC AI with aggro and leash behavior ❤️ Health bars and floating damage text 🎬 Attack and movement animations The controller works out-of-the-box with any Unity 6.2+ 3D project and supports humanoid-rigged characters from 3DAI Studio, Rodin, or Mixamo. All resources are available free on GitHub, so you can follow along and get your own combat system running in minutes. 🧩 Features covered in this video: – Player & enemy prefab setup – Combat controller architecture – AI aggro and leash zones – Animation integration – UI feedback (damage numbers, health bars) Links: GitHub Repo: 3DAI Studio Character Pipeline: AI Game Dev Series: 0:00 Intro and Overview 0:37 Unity scene setup 0:54 Character model import 3:45 Animation pack installation 4:10 Hero combat controller package installation 4:40 Animator controller overview 6:20 Auto-wiring tool 9:50 Components in the inspector 12:35 Add Sword to hero character 15:00 Outro If you enjoy this video, check out my 3D Unity Game Dev with AI course playlist for more beginner-friendly tutorials that combine Unity with AI-powered tools. 👍 Don’t forget to like and subscribe — new videos every week on AI-powered game development, Unity tutorials, and creative workflows. #Unity #GameDev #AIGameDev #UnityTutorial #UnityCombatSystem #GameDevelopment #IndieDev #3DGameDev #UnityAI #Unity6 #Mixamo #3DAIStudio #Rodin #UnityAnimation #UnityCharacterController #UnityCombat
