Hello, friends!🥰 Welcome to a peaceful day in our little village in Colombia, where we enjoy the simple pleasures of country life, handmade crafts, and homemade food. 🌿🏡 Our morning begins in the garden, gathering fresh herbs, collecting eggs from the chickens, and enjoying the flowers blooming around our cottage, while my husband milks our cow. Back in the kitchen, I make homemade jam, freshly baked banana bread, and a soothing herbal infusion with the herbs I gathered from the garden. Later, my husband spends time working in the vegetable garden, preparing the soil and sowing new seeds for the seasons ahead. Meanwhile, I begin a new cross-stitch embroidery project, which I turn into a handmade oven mitt for our outdoor kitchen. As the day unfolds, I prepare homemade pizza dough and head back into the garden to pick fresh basil. Finally, we bake our homemade pizza in the outdoor brick oven, using my new embroidered oven mitt for the very first time. 🍕🌿 A day filled with gardening, farm chores, slow living, handmade treasures, and the comforting joy of cooking from scratch.
