The 70 cm band runs from 420 to 450 megahertz. This is a total bandwidth of thirty MHz, which is a really large UHF sandbox for us to play in. But this band is more than just FM repeaters. The bandplan, developed by the ARRL with lots of input from the membership, provides the gentleman’s agreement of what you can do, and where you can do it on the band.
