V2 Data Engine (Experimental) - Storage Network - Longhorn v1.9.0 - Enhancement

Longhorn's V2 Data Engine can now be configured with a dedicated storage network, solving the performance issues caused by a single, shared network. The default primary network can become a significant I/O bottleneck as storage operations compete with other application traffic. This new feature uses Multus CNI to create an isolated network for all storage traffic, ensuring dedicated bandwidth and a high-performance environment for your volumes. Coupled with the Longhorn V2 Data Engine's SPDK backend, this enhancement significantly boosts IOPS and throughput, making it a powerful solution for I/O-intensive workloads. The video also includes a full demo of how to configure and enable the storage network using the Longhorn UI. You will learn how to create the necessary network definition, detach volumes, and reattach them after the configuration is saved. Please note: The V2 Data Engine is still an experimental feature and should not be used in production environments. Caio Torres ( ) shows you how to use the feature in this video.
