I built a solar-powered Meshtastic node completely from scratch, modifying the enclosure, wiring the solar and battery system, and assembling the radio for off-grid communication. This short film shows the full build process in under five minutes, from drilling and soldering to final assembly. Meshtastic is an open-source LoRa mesh network project that lets devices communicate without Wi-Fi or cell service. This node is designed to stay online, powered by the sun, extending the mesh network into remote areas.
