Were in ISTANBUL: 2 Days Between Two Continents! 🇹🇷

🌊 Explore a city spanning two continents through ferry rides on the Bosphorus, vibrant street food markets, and stunning mosques that bridge Europe and Asia. This isn't a checklist tour. It's 48 hours immersing ourselves in Istanbul's infinite colors, scents, and energy. From commuter ferries alongside locals to unexpected encounters with friendly ice cream vendors, we wanted to feel the city, not just see it. ⏰ Our 48-hour Istanbul experience: 00:00 We're in Istanbul! 00:38 Our Accommodation 01:06 Süleymaniye Mosque exploration 03:02 Food with a view 03:55 Street Food at the Spice Bazaar 05:01 Turkish ice cream experience 05:45 Basilica Cistern underground adventure 06:37 Blue Mosque visit 07:23 Dinner, baby cats & sweets 08:23 We have Boza! 10:50 We try fish kebab! 11:53 Ferry to Ortaköy 13:12 Büyük Mecidiye Mosque 13:44 Trying kumpir (baked potato) 14:41 Crossing to Asian side (Üsküdar) 16:58 Ferry to Karaköy 18:31 Local food in Eminönü 19:50 Leaving Istanbul 🌍 What makes Istanbul magical? It's the only city where you can have breakfast in Europe and lunch in Asia. It's the warm people, the endless food options, the mosques that take your breath away, and the Bosphorus connecting it all. We didn't try to see everything - we chose to truly experience what we could. And that made all the difference. About us: We are Claudia and Thomas with our child! Whenever possible, we try to travel and capture our unique experiences in various locations on video. We love to travel and explore the world with family friendly activities on a budget and we hope that our videos will inspire you to travel, too! Before we decided to vlog we have already traveled to 41 countries as a couple. Later, when our son was born we continued to travel. His first journey took him with us and a van for 5 months to France, Spain and Portugal. Since then and because he (and we) loved the adventures so much, we decided to show him other countries as well. We subsequently visited 21 countries as a family and we then thought that making videos of the next trips is a perfect way to capture the memories. Watching our 🎬 videos means the world to us!
