For project source code check here: A VGA era inspired screensaver where a star field full of galaxies gets generated, rendered and animated; the animation effects are inspired from several late 20th century (circa 1970s - 1990s) visual and audio effects to create the distinct feeling of an vintage terminal doing an important job :-) Most effects are visualizations of RGB color scale histogram functions that scan the screensaver generated images and animate their actual input & output values! The audio events of the program are generated by the OS MIDI output driver The screensaver is either "Bot" or "User" interactive; the user may inspect each part of the galaxy by clicking on to open the "Galaxy Inspector" dialog; multiple "Galaxy Inspectors" may co-exist and be freely relocated around the screen! The Bot does the same in a scripted manner
