The planet appeared months ago, seemingly out of nowhere. Hovering in the sky above our home planet like a looming giant. It took everyone by surprise. People immediately took to calling it Aetherea, due to it showing up “out of the aether”. Peoples fear quickly turned to curiosity and even excitement, once they realized the planet had no clear ill intent. As an intergalactic analyst I was contacted right away and sent to Aetherea’s surface along with quickly assembled teams to begin operations to understand the planet, how it appeared so close to ours, and what its purpose is. Base Foxtrot has become my home for the time being. And looking up towards our home planet in the sky has become my daily motivation. Does Aetherea pose a threat to our planet? How have the planet’s orbits not been affected? Will Aetherea become a source for new resources and additional real estate? Only time will tell.
