No Spin Flying Steel Test for End Grain Target (Part 2 of 3)

I’ve always wanted to make an end grain target and I finally made one using a design I saw on a Russian No-Spin YouTube channel. I used my lightest Flying Steel knives: East Wind Javelite Custom Knife Sheath made by Rob (you can see this around my waist while I'm throwing) robskydex@ Phi (is discontinued, but you might be able to custom order it) After I did this test, I realized that my target needed a backboard or perhaps wood glue. I chose to use wood glue which has worked great (you will see the results in my next video). I;ve also learned a couple things from a fellow knife thrower who lives in Russia, He told me that backboards are used when the blocks are small, but larger blocks don't need a back board because of their weight. Not to mention, soaking your target with water each time before you throw helps the target to "broom" over time, rather than just fall apart. I'll include these tips in the next video! I also received a norse tomahawk from one of my favorite knife/tomahawk YouTubers, EpicBlade Time Check out his channel below: I love EpicBlade Time's Moving Target video! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here is the list of videos in this series: Part 1: How to Make an End Grain Target for Knife Throwing Part 2: No-spin End Grain Target Test (without Wood Glue) Part 3: 88 Throwing Projectile End Grain Target Test (with Wood Glue) How I Built My Flat Board Knife Throwing Target Music: Satiate Percussion by Kevin MacLeod ( ) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0
