How to get from Paris Gare du Nord to Gare de Lyon using the RER D 2025 transfer guide.

If you are coming from the UK on the Eurostar or from anywhere north of Paris and you’re traveling to the south of France and beyond by train, you will have to transfer from Paris Gare du Nord to Paris Gare de Lyon. The quickest and easiest way is to take the RER D. The RER is a hybrid of a regional commuter rail and a subway like rapid transit system in the Paris region. The RER gets you from Gare du Nord to Gare de Lyon in under 15 minutes.
