In this video, I show how to count the number of occurrences of a value in a column in Google Sheets. You can the frequency that words or numbers appear in your column with these methods. To do this, we will be using the UNIQUE and COUNTIF functions. The first method will only work if the entire cell is an exact match, but with the second method, we can search for partial matches in our cells.
