In this video I’m making a fully custom chisel using mosaic Damascus steel, ivory micarta and a fluted handle with silver wire inlay. It’s not meant for everyday woodworking — this project is all about learning new techniques and trying to make something special. The Damascus was made by my mate Jackson Rumble (Mastersmith knife maker) and I’ve been saving it for a few years.
