UE5.5 - Zombie Character Damage System | Physics Animation, Deformer Graph, Vertex Paint And More

Advanced hit reactions system and visual effects related to damage that have been implemented for the new Zombie Character. I managed to implement some interesting functions related to damage. Thanks to the Deformer Graph tool, you can influence the shape of the model in real time. This gives interesting visual possibilities. In the presented video, during hits, the geometry is deformed to simulate dents. Additionally, Deformer Graph also allows you to modify the Vertex Color, which gives you the ability to create interesting effects in the material (in this case, it is a bloody holes). The zombie character also uses Physic Animation, which allows you to implement the dismemberment of individual Physic Asset elements by modifying the Physic Constraints parameters.
