How TCP Acceleration actually DOUBLES your Internet speed

How does TCP acceleration work to make your Internet 6x faster? Alex and Speedify lead developer Kevin explain Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) acceleration and Performance Enhancing Proxy (PEP) technology, now available on OpenWRT, routers, and the Miri X510. We tested with the Beryl AX travel router to show how Speedify’s Router PEP optimizes TCP behavior for best VPN performance, even outpacing WireGuard speeds on a single connection, with double the downstream internet speed. We also look at how Speedify modifies packet sizes, enhances congestion control, and rethinks the End-to-End (E2E) principle of internet protocols to unlock higher throughput, lower latency, and more stable connections across any network environment.
