It's been hailed by Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who has made the "groundbreaking series" available for students across the country because of the light it shines on internet misogyny. But Adolescence and the discourse around it has a lot in common with moral panics of the past, amping up fear, proposing increased police funding as a solution, and promoting a national policy of digital abstinence that doesn't actually help young boys or girls.
