In this video, we take a step further from building a Meraki network and use Cisco ISE to deploy adaptive policy for consistent authentication, authorization, and policy rollout. We discuss the benefits of integrating ISE with Meraki dashboard, the prerequisites, and the high-level steps involved in the process. We also demonstrate how to configure global access policy, radius server, authentication on switch ports, and group policies at Meraki side to match the filter list or ACL coming from ISE authorization profile. Finally, we connect a couple of hosts to verify that they are authenticating and getting onboarded IP addresses from ISE, and we perform some tests to ensure that the policies are working as expected.
