⚡️ZIP ZAP HAZARDOUS PRODUCTIONS IS BACK⚡️ This time aiding The National Grid with the asset management inspection of their Overhead Powerlines and Pylons. Our DJI inspection drone flew low and zoomed in close looking for any indications of the following issues: 1. Conductor Power Line Issues (Broken/ Frayed strands, Sagging Lines and Corrosion and Wear) 2. Insulation Defects (Cracked/Chipped/Busted Insulator Discs) 3. Signs of Electrical Activity (Burn or Tracing Marks) 3. Environmental/ Animal Damage + Vegetation Encroachment 4. Weathered/Corroded Signage Our video shows evidence of (2) Insulation defects and (4) Weathered Signage. The above mentioned issues can lead to a range of electrical/ mechanical problems (partial discharge, leaking current, breakage) and potentially cause danger to the public.
