I've got a project I'm working on where I need to drive a ton of 7 Segment displays, so instead of dealing with all of the multiplexing myself, like I normally would, I decided to take the easy route and go with a dedicated LED driver (MAX7219). It runs the whole show and I'll explain how to work with it in this video.
