This is my quick overview of the PSPi v6 mod, a collection of very well designed PCBs made to fit inside the shell of a PSP 1000 handheld to equip it with a modern Raspberry Pi Compute Module compatible mainboard. I had a lot of fun putting this project together, and a lot of trouble getting the Raspberry Pi CM5 to work... but in the end it made for a very capable, if impractical, Raspberry Pi based handheld. I would build it again.
