Demonstration of two radar solutions from D3 Engineering, using TI ADAS technology and D3's RVP-TDA3x Rugged Vision Platform. 1. A "satellite" system with a radar module and a rugged camera module, with data sent via FPD-Link to a processor inside the vehicle. This is the basis for a sensor fusion system combining radar and vision. 2. A "forward" or direct-connect radar module, with processing on the radar unit which would be located behind the bumper. These solutions feature D3’s radar modules and DesignCore™ platforms, used in our embedded design services to deliver a rapid proof of concept and to accelerate development of production automotive radar and vision systems.
