I know the title claims something big. Honestly, after I finished making this, I couldn't think of anything else to call it — and I really do believe that if you watch the whole thing, you'll walk away understanding a piece of math most people never get to feel. This one is for everyone. I made it imagining I was explaining these numbers to someone who only knows the basics — no formulas thrown at you, no steps skipped. We start from the very bottom (a coin, an ant, a tree, a Ferris wheel) and build all the way up to the equation a lot of people call the most beautiful in mathematics: e^(iπ) + 1 = 0 We meet three numbers that were discovered by different people, in different countries, centuries apart, for reasons that had nothing to do with each other — pi from a circle, e from money growing in a bank, and i, the number they literally called "imaginary" as an insult. And somehow they all end up shaking hands in one line. Even if you already know some of this, I'd still love for you to watch from the start. Sometimes we think we know something, when really there's a deeper meaning sitting right underneath it. That's the part I wanted you to feel.
