So many of you asked in my previous video how I procedurally generate Djent/Progressive Metal music! Well, in this video I try to give you a quick overview of how my program works! For those unfamiliar, I have a program that procedurally generates Djent/Progressive Metal that I used to make this video; But essentially, here I give an overview of how the program is structured, the different concepts of how it works, and how the different systems interact with each other. It's hard to talk about "the algorithm" of my program, since it's many small algorithms working together, and not a singular one. As there's no machine learning or AI involved, every piece is handcrafted by me to produce the kind of thing that I want to. I'd love to explore more automated processes in the future, but this is currently where it's at!
