How to be successful in your next pre-screening interview 🔹 Do you know what a pre-screening interview is? It’s normally the first conversation you have with someone inside the company you want to work for. It has a more informal tone and it will be short (between 5 - 20 minutes). It can be so informal that some job seekers “forget” it is still an interview and don’t prepare well for that! 🔹 Why do pre-screening interviews happen? Because the company wants to confirm if you meet the job requirements and if you are available. It’s a way to “double-check” if you are a good fit for the job before they spend more time doing a long interview. 🔹 What will happen after? If your pre-screening interview goes well, the company will invite you for a formal job interview. So, remember that this is a decisive part of the recruitment process! 🔹 What if the pre-screening interview goes wrong? Well… unfortunately you will be eliminated from the recruitment process.
