Those guys at AliExpress have done it again, this time it’s with a LD2410C Human Presence Detector. The module is super simple to use but is amazing bit of radar technology! In the video I outline the key features of the LD2410C module and show how it can be connected to an ESP32. With just a few lines of code in the Arduino IDE the sensor detects but stationary and moving targets over a 5 m range. I perform a very rough test of the measurement accuracy and it’s not ‘bad’! Overall, I’m super impressed with the little module and can’t wait to try it out in a future project.
