Hi Friends, my name is Callum aka wanderloots. In today's video, I walk through how I use Google AI Studio To Deploy An App for me (for free) 📝💡 UPDATE: This video gives my step-by-step process & strategy on how to deploy the apps you build in Google AI Studio by coding with AI (vibe coding) ✨ Deploying apps means to make them public. By deploying your app from Google AI studio, you can start sharing a public, live URL with others, or use the app yourself from your phone. To see how I built the app in today's video, check out part 1: I also teach you how to use GitHub for version control. Effectively, you can use Gemini 2.5 Pro (and soon, Gemini 3.0 Pro) as an agentic AI to code for you, versioning with GitHub, and deploying with Google Cloud Run. It's a full stack! Google AI Studio has two main options for deploying your app: 1) Google Cloud Run 2) GitHub + deployment service (e.g., Vercel, Netlify). Both offer great free tiers and version control so that you can not only make your app public, but can easily add more features and recalibrate your app as you go. Google AI Studio is an incredible powerful tool that has been helping me turn my ideas into reality. As a non-coder, I have been learning how to code using Gemini 2.5 Pro, enabled in Google AI Studio, while also using this same software to write code for me AND debug it. It's honestly amazing how much I've learned and built in such a short time, leveraging Gemini 2.5 Pro as one of the most powerful LLMs out there, especially for coding (and it's free!). With Obsidian being my favourite non-linear note-taking app, I thought it would be cool to build a custom, personal app for myself: an idea inbox. A dedicated mobile app that lets me drop thoughts & ideas in one place and have them appear in Obsidian for analysis later. Whether you are interested in Obsidian or not, the concept of ideating, roadmapping, planning, and developing an MVP app for yourself remains the same. Prompt engineering & context engineering are becoming more important than ever as AI tools continue to improve. We need to consider how to scale our apps from MVP to production, leveraging AI for coding along the way. I hope you enjoy! ✨ To learn more about how the AI tools I use, check out my AI Learning Playlist: P.S.
