In this TUTORIAL, I show how YOU can make custom Control Rigs and character animations. This is the process I am using for my short film in UE5.2 by using my custom Control Rigs for my characters and animating them in Level Sequences. The default Unreal Engine Mannequins come with prebuilt Control Rigs, but if you want to use your own custom character (skeletal mesh) that you made or got from the Unreal Engine Market Place as I did with my Bloody Hazmat Model and AI Zombie Model, you will have to create a Control Rig from scratch. Inspired by @WoodyDevs process of Easy Control Rig, I made this video. WoodyDevs showed a simplified way of using Item Arrays in the Control Rig Blueprints. That way, you don't have to manually drag and drop each bone and control independently. Then I show the process of editing the bone controls into useful shapes. In the second part of this video, I show how to make a custom Idle Animation.
