To truly understand cloud bursting, you need a robust on-premises environment to burst from. Lab 2 shows you how to simulate a traditional datacenter Slurm environment within Azure's onprem VNet. We'll provision and configure a dedicated Slurm Scheduler VM and a Compute VM, set up shared NFS storage, and establish a fully functioning, standalone Slurm cluster.
