Test the continuity between each coil contact (U1 U2, V1 V2 and W1 W2) and make sure that there is continuity. if there is no continuity, then probably your motor is burnt. 2) Short circuit test We test short circuit between coils for Example, testing between U1 and V1 and so on. There must know continuity between coils if all the 6 leads are out. (The only exception is when the motor has been connected internally either in star or delta). 3) Resistance While testing continuity ensures that you record the reading, the reading is determined by the resistance of the coil. The reading between each coil should be the same or the difference should minor.
