This documentary tells the story of Samuil, a man who has spent the past 20 years living completely alone in the coldest place on Earth — deep in the Siberian wilderness, where temperatures drop to an unbelievable −71°C (−95°F). Hundreds of kilometers from the nearest village, Samuil survives in a small wooden cabin without electricity, heating, or even windows. Surrounded only by the frozen forest, bears, wolves, and his loyal dogs are his closest companions. In this film, we capture all seasons of his life — the brutal winter, the brief spring, the quiet early summer, autumn, and how he celebrates Christmas alone in the wild.
