We demonstrate the effects of [Dynamic Tone Mapping] "On", "Off" and "HGIG" in [HDR Game Mode] on the LG CX OLED TV, and explain which is generally the best setting for gaming on the Sony PS5, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch 2. Our recommendation can also be applied to the BX and GX, as well as 2019's LG C9, B9 & E9. A Canon DP-V2411 4K reference monitor was used for HDR analysis of dynamic tone-mapping (DTM) vs HGIG.
