Youll want to know this ONE versatile SURVIVAL SKILL! Pine Resin USES

Pine resin, aka pine pitch, is one of the most useful resources in the forest. In this primitive survival skills video, we'll collect pine resin and use it to make pine pitch glue, pine pitch salve, a primitive wood sealer and primitive leather conditioner and preservative. Most of these things result from combining resin with some ratio of animal fats (tallow) or other oils like bees wax. These pine pitch based products have been used by primitive cultures throughout the world for many centuries. It makes a great primitive hot melt glue for bushcraft projects, mounting stone arrow heads, etc. The pine pitch salve is a great natural antiseptic which doubles as a wood sealer which I use on my primitive bows and arrows. The leftover stuff, combined with dry materials makes a great pine pitch fire starter. Collecting and processing pine pitch is one primitive survival skill you'll want to know.
