In this video I discuss what options we have when deciding what type of balsa rc plane kit to build. Options include purchasing a new boxed rc plane kit from a current hobby supply, or you can purchase a vintage rc plane kit from an source such as ebay or a swap and sell event, or we can build an rc plane short kit, or we can build straight off a set of plans where we cut all of the wood pieces ourselves. Each of the build options has pluses and minuses. I am also asking your opinion on which one of these build types you would like to see for my next rc plane build log on this channel. So I am also posting a survey under the community tab where you can provide your opinion. I have been building, flying, crashing, modifying, and repairing radio control planes (RC Planes) for many years and enjoy sharing what I do with the radio control plane community, so I started RC Plane Tech channel for fun. I am not an expert, there are many different techniques when building radio control planes. A good way to learn about flying and building rc planes is to see what others are doing, that's what I do and that's why I like to share what I do.
