On November 13, 2022, four University of Idaho students were brutally stabbed in their home, with surviving roommates later describing a masked man fleeing the scene; Bryan Kohberger, a criminology PhD student, was arrested weeks later, tied to the crime by DNA, surveillance footage, and cellphone data, and is set to stand trial in 2025. Intriguingly, a possible connection has been speculated between Kohberger and infamous serial killer Dennis Rader, the BTK Killer, through their mutual ties to criminologist Dr. Katherine Ramsland. Rader, active from 1974 to 1991, murdered ten people while leading a seemingly normal life, taunting police through letters, and was finally caught in 2005 via digital metadata. Diagnosed with severe personality disorders, Rader remains a haunting figure in criminal psychology, recently named a suspect in a 1976 disappearance. This video aims to analyze Rader’s behavior and expressions to better understand his psyche and explore any contextual parallels to the ongoing Idaho case, with an emphasis on educational interpretation, not legal judgment.
