In Ecamm Live you can select a "scene course" as either Camera, Screenshare, Movie, or Blank... The default is "Camera" which makes sense, so that when you open Ecamm Live for the first time you will see your camera feed. However, it is my view that it is always best to start with a blank scene and then build up your scenes using camera or screen share overlays and of course all of the other graphical overlays you may want on top of that... in this video I explain why I think that is.
