Troubleshooting Power Supplies: Volts Do Not Mean Good PSU!

Visit for W2 and 1099 job opportunities! Visit for events, latest news, and test equipment education. I reported to an emergency call in an operating room because 2 of the light heads went out. We were trying to test the PSU and in doing so, I melted a bulb which opened the PSU output load which then created odd floating voltages. Here on my bench I can more accurately test this PSU with a consistent environment (Potentiometer replaced with resistor and AC Line power is isolated). Want your video posted to this channel?
