Slip leads are not a plug and play system they require a little bit of technique in order to master the tool. Albeit a rather simple method once you get the hang of it but all to often I see owners using these tools incorrectly and thinking otherwise. The orange slip lead is from And would be one I would recommend due to the biothane make and therefore ease of cleaning and effective use of the slip through the metal loop. The thinner the slip lead the better and the quicker the response will be from your dog. But this is personal preference
