Hi everyone, I’m Hazel! In today’s Just Chatting video, I’m sharing a story from my recent trips to Nan’ao in Yilan, where I learned Atayal rattan weaving for the very first time. This was not easy at climbed the mountain, cut the rattan, carried it down on our backs, and spent hours preparing it by hand before we could even start weaving. But it was beautiful, meaningful, and such a special experience. In this video, you’ll hear ✔ slow and clear Mandarin (Comprehensible Input) ✔ vocabulary about culture, crafts, and nature ✔ my story of learning traditional Atayal weaving ✔ questions for you to answer in the comments Question for you: Does your country have a similar traditional craft? Are you good at making things with your hands? Tell me in the comments, I’d love to hear from you! -- If you like this video and want to practice Chinese with me 1-on-1, please check the information below: 1️⃣ Fill out this form so I can understand your learning goals: 👉 2️⃣ Book your lesson here: 👉
