How to Write Believable Underdogs

The Fight Spectrum is a tool I made up in my first video titled "Why 90% of Fight Scenes Are Bad". It is used to analyze a fight scene based on the parties' strengths. This helps categorize every fight into one of four buckets: Fly Swatting, David Vs Goliath, Toss Up, and World Cup. From here I assign specific requirements to each bucket, and if the fight meets those requirements, it passes my test. In today's video, I will be going over the David VS Goliath category. These fights occur when a weak character or party somehow defeats a stronger party. I use examples from Puss in Boots, Hunter X Hunter, The Incredibles, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, and more!
