For this hunt, we teamed up with an Idaho outfitter for a true drop camp experience. They flew us into the remote Idaho wilderness and used mules to pack us and our gear up and down the mountain. Once we were at camp, though, everything from glassing to stalking to harvesting to packing meat was 100% DIY. This film shows the full backcountry experience — not just the kill shots. From long miles in steep country, to weather, mistakes, pack-outs, and everything in between, this is exactly what a drop camp hunt looks like for regular guys who love the mountains and want to earn every bit of it. If you're researching an Idaho drop camp or thinking about flying into the backcountry, I hope this gives you a real look at what to expect. And if you just love authentic, no-BS hunting films… welcome to Tagged Outdoors. Thanks for being here — and for supporting this kind of content.
