This book has a couple of inconsistencies: - In Nick’s introduction he says that he moved back from the East “last autumn,” but in the final chapter, he says, “After two years I remember the rest of that day…” This makes the timeline unclear, hence why I say the events of the book happened to Nick one or two years ago. - Daisy’s hair color is also unclear. In chapter 7, she describes her daughter’s hair as “yellowy” and says, “She’s got my hair and shape of the face.” However, in chapter 8, Daisy’s hair is described as “dark shining hair.” So, I went for a shade in between white and black to compromise.
