Meet *The Watcher* a Blender creature built from stubborn laziness, cursed automation, and the refusal to animate anything by hand. His oversized eyes track whatever you throw at him, his head lags behind, and his body only moves when forced. This is not traditional animation… this is weaponized incompetence. In this warm‑up I wrestle with Blender drivers, damped track constraints, deadzones, and the eternal battle between rigging and sanity. The result: a character that stares, dances and nothing else, he’s a bit rubbish isn’t he? Phase One of the grand plan: build a trinket shop set, stock the shelves with curiosities, and let each oddity tell its own story. Today’s oddity is The Watcher part goober, part monster, part proof that Blender can be both playground and torture chamber. My brain fell out, I… The next one will be much better, I promise. #3d #blender #3danimation
