In this tutorial, we’ll explore how to create *audio-reactive noise visuals* using TouchDesigner. Starting from basic CHOP channel manipulation, we’ll build a reactive system where sound directly drives the movement and texture of procedural noise. The workflow focuses on turning audio data into motion allowing you to sculpt visuals that respond to every beat, texture, and tone of sound. This is a great way to explore how rhythm and visuals can merge into a unified sensory experience. Try experimenting with your own settings: adjust Edge strength, tweak Noise amplitude, and color-grade through Level or Bloom TOPs to match your track’s mood. ### **Concept** -This project explores how procedural visuals can respond to audio in real time. -Using CHOP-based frequency analysis, each range of sound (Low / Mid / High) is mapped into motion and brightness, allowing the noise to pulse, drift, and reshape itself dynamically. -Edge detection and Bloom effects amplify the emotional tone creating visuals that feel alive, cinematic, and deeply connected to the energy of music. -It’s not just about syncing visuals to sound it’s about expressing rhythm through texture, color, and motion.
