Let's take a look at this unique design and why, or why not, returning to such an old concept may still have merit. Addendum: I've seen a lot of people reply to my video on the KelTec PR57 pistol as tacit endorsement as a CCW pistol. I have had no issues whatsoever with mine, not one malfunction, including continued firing off camera.
