Ultimately, I’m moving away from #MACH4 HOBBY software and controller to opensource and free control software that’s actually supported and receives constant updates. I have tested controllers like Arduino Uno, MKS DCL32 and WiXHC. I ran my machine on #mach4 for about 3 years now and never had a pleasant cnc experience. I believe opensource software and community support for controllers like #grbl #grblhal #fluidnc #gsender #openbuilds #ugs are by far better that running expensive and difficult platforms in a hobby CNC shop.
