CNC Controllers: Dropping MACH4, going Opensource!

In this video, I’m talking CNC and upgrades and changes I’m planning to make to my machine. Issues I had with controllers and EMI. Solutions I found and tried. Ultimately, I’m moving away from #MACH4 HOBBY software and controller to opensource and free control software that’s actually supported and receives constant updates. I have tested controllers like Arduino Uno, MKS DCL32 and WiXHC. I ran my machine on #mach4 for about 3 years now and never had a pleasant cnc experience. I believe opensource software and community support for controllers like #grbl #grblhal #fluidnc #gsender #openbuilds #ugs are by far better that running expensive and difficult platforms in a hobby CNC shop. Hence I’m ditching my MACH 4 and going #opensource Follow a long, In the next video I’m swapping my MCH4 controller for a new 6 axis Fluidnc controller from Pibot, and trying GRBLHAL Firmware to run in gsender.
