7/8/24 edit: I turned off comments cause the amount of comments I was getting related to the situation surrounding the original maker of the song were outweighing the comments by the people who I actually made the video for. I made this animation like two years ago, and I never made it with the intention of supporting someone who ended up doing something so horrible. No, I made it for the people like me who just wanted to reflect on something nostalgic, people like me who were into all that sort of that cringy stuff as kids. It was meant to just be harmless fun where I get to practice and show off my skills as a self-taught animator. So seeing all of the comments joking about some guy who did something horrible, it just feels like its taking away from all of that. And even after I brought up that I wanted to stop seeing those comments, I still kept seeing them. It’s just become really lame. It’s not like I even like Fandroid anymore, I just don’t wanna keep seeing people say stuff like “aged like milk” or another joke about minors. Maybe I’m being a stick in the mud but this just isn’t the place for that.
