Alice in Wonderland is a classic of children’s literature and one of Walt Disney’s great animated successes. It’s well known for its surreal and nonsensical plot twists, so it’s going to be quite the trip down the rabbit hole to cover all the differences between book and film. Subscribe: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is a unique coming of age story about a young girl coming to terms with her oncoming adulthood and changing identity, but it’s also about following a white rabbit around a crazy world, with occasional appearances by a striped cat. The film is similar, but different, taking cues from the book even as it chooses to go its own way.
